Growler shared by Ben. Big steady beige head on top of a deep brown black body. Creamy body, smooth porter tones, but has the classic oily black feel of black IPA too. Solid balance, overall quite enjoyable. Good stuff.

Slightly hazy golden amber color, off white head. Nice aroma of lightly spiced grapefruit. Aroma os nicely balanced caramel biscuit and citrus.

On tap at HopCat in Madison, pours a clear orange with some ringing, white head. Nose has old school C hops, vinous, pine, citrus peel, herb, a little crackery too. The biscuit, malty backbone really ties everything together, flavors or lemon and herbs too. Light soap. Dry finish. Very drinkable.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2015. Pours a cloudy light orange gold with a white head that dissipates ot the edges. Aroma has a good amount of earthy wheat, a bit of sweetness and a light tart fruit note. Flavor is mainly sweet and earthy wheat with a touch of bread and light tart fruit.

Snifter at Next Door. Kind of dark for the style, unfiltered orange-brown. Foamy, steady off-white head. Pretty weak, subdued aroma for a 2014 IIPA. Rich and malty, leaning towards Barleywine. Resinous hops, but pretty boring. An OK beverage, but quite lackluster and uninspired.
