12oz can picked up at the brewery. Pours dirty brown with very little off-white ring, no lacing. No Vanilla, nutty, banana, lime. Decent but forgettable.

12oz can from Boise Co-op. Opaque orange golden body , head disappears quick, settles to flat. Aroma is fruity, tropical and citrus, hoppy, dank, all over the place. Taste starts with a big kick of hops, booze, sweet fruity notes behind. More burn than bite.

12 oz. can at Blu Pig BBQ in Moab, UT. Pours a clear light gold color with a small white head and fair retention. Smells like a typical grainy lager. Good taste. Crisp, clean, light. Watery body. Basically a reinvented Coors Light. Slightly sweet with a faint lemon finish. Perfect light beer after our all-day tour.

12 ounce can. Pours a bright purple red color with a small white head. A big berry and vanilla nose, certainly like pie. More of this, Spices, berries, light lactic sourness, bigger sweet vanilla and spice. Lovely beer.

12 ounce can. Pours a cloudy orange hue with a small white head. A sort of woody round and citrus nose. Very light. Clear interesting tamarind flavors, reminds me of tangerines. Tart but not by a lot. Pretty smooth. Enjoyable.

12 oz. Aroma is very much like strawberry lemonade, or popsicles. Pours a murky strawberry Quik-like hue with a collapsing reddish-white head. Taste is highly sour (8/10) with strawberry lemonade flavors. Tasty as all hell, but barely beer.

12 oz. Aroma is orange-ish, more like tangerine, with vanilla, kind of peppery. Pours murky orange with a collapsing bone-white head. Taste is moderately sour (7/10) with flavors like the aroma descriptors. Biscuity. Although there is a creamsicle element to it, I thought that flavor would be much more pronounced. It mostly tastes like a sour tangerine flavored ale with a light vanilla note. Tasty, though.

12 oz. Aroma is, in order of appearance, berries, lactose, cinnamon, vanilla, graham crackers. Pours murky purple with a quickly collapsing purple-white head. Taste is moderately sour (6/10) and quite sweet with berry pie flavors. Another delicious liquid dessert from Shades, although this one seems not quite as impressive as the other ones I've had from them.

12oz can from Brewers Haven. Deep golden, light haze, fizzy head. Citrusy aroma, oranges, grapefruit. Taste brings more fruity flavors, some light stone fruit in addition to the citrus. Hops add a small buzz to the finish.
