On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a small white head. A big sweet grainy nose. The flavor is sweet lemon, grainy, toast. Smooth.

No Belgian character to speak of except the very white pale color, very thick, no clarity. New hops dominate but are mild with a little bitterness. Wheat IPA that looks like a white IPA.

Pale color. Unfortunately diacetyl and lemon underneath that. Not really drinkable.

22oz bottle picked up at the brewery
Clear dark amber with a medium sized beige head, some lacing. Aroma of caramel, woody, brown sugar and rye spices. Flavors of toasted malts, caramel, whiskey, rye, hot alcohols
Good, but I like the No 2 version with Bourbon Barrels better.

On tap at Shades of Pale, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is very mild, with light oats and some toasted malt. Flavour brings out oats upfront, toasted malt and almost a bit of sourness. The more you drink, the more the sourness comes out on the finish. Okay, but seems infected a bit.

On tap at Shades of Pale, pours a hazy orange amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out some mild hops resins and a little caramel bready malt. Flavour is very mild, with light hop resins and bready malt. Fairly decent for a 4% amber but still pretty weak of course.

On tap at Shades of Pale, pours a deep dark mahogany with with a small tan head. Aroma brings out pleasant mild dark fruits and a little toasted malt. Flavour is more subdued, with toasted malt and a touch of red fruits. It's not bad, but lacking oomph as always in this state.

On tap at Shades of Pale, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out light wheat, not much else. Flavour is quite light, with biscuity malt, wheat and a little citrus. Decent enough but it's pretty weak, as expected.
