12oz bottle via trade pours a lightly hazy, burnt orange/amber with a ring of white head. Nose has blood orange, apple cider vinegar, stale cereal, paint thinner, neutral oak, sherry and a ton of sweat. Flavor is more port than sherry, some fruit now, clear raisin, some caramel, vanillin now, some booze. Interesting because it smells like it might be a booze and/or acid bomb... but it's not. It way smoother than I thought, especially for 10.5%.

12 oz bottle from Toby. Ruddy brown pour with a small frothy head. Big boozy aroma, sharp alcohol notes, sweet.Taste is roast malts, chocolate, strong. Alcoohol so prominent that it obscures most of the elements of this beer.
