Description
The Big Rip Brewing Company is a growing 4bbl brewery that opened in May 2013. The Big Rip is founded by two friends who caught the beer and wine making bug years ago and decided to throw in together to start this brewery. We don’t have goals of taking over the world or creating beer that only appeals to a select few. Instead, we want to create unique beers that appeal to both beer-nerds and people new to craft beer.

Rating #3,300. Growler courtesy of scotter at a tasting. The pour is super hazed brown, muddy looking almost. The aroma is soft oatmeal, raisin and sweet malt. Nose is true to the name, this does indeed smell like an Oatmeal Raisin Cookie. The taste is the oatmeal raisin blended right away, with quite a bit of sweetness and a clean malt finish. The palate is medium bodied, soft to low carbonation and a clean finish. Tasty and fun beer. Thanks for sharing this Scott, the best beer I have had from Big Rip yet.
