This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow with a slight orange hue to its color. A one finger white foamy head dissipated fairly quickly leaving light lacing sliding into the beer.
The smell was really nice as there was a refreshing grassy to lemongrass with a slight pepper spice glossing the underneath and allowing a nice floral content come out.
The taste had a sweet to light spice and slight floral dryness on it. The aftertaste had a sweet floral and citrus hops to it. The finish was quick and dry.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent crisp dryness rolling over my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good AIPA that I would have again.

This was poured into a pint glass because I thought it was an American Pale ale and actually smelling and tasting it, I believe it is one.
The appearance was a hazy bronzed orange color with a slim finger’s worth of white head gently dissipating leaving some light rings and having a lacing running here and there.
The smell had a light spritzy citrus bitter hops leading into a decent caramel maltiness.
The taste took those flavors and made it fairly sweet and earthy. A light toastiness adds itself in there as well. A combined citrusy and earthy aftertaste leads itself into a balanced wet to dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionable quality about it. The carbonation seemed good for the style as there was a decent harshness but nothing controlling.
Overall, I say this was a good APA that I could have again.

Draft in Newtown, PA. Black color, thin white head. Aroma is mild chocolate, burnt grain and Saaz hops. Flavor shows an abundance of lingering Saaz hop bitterness that gives a dry texture. Simple and easy to drink and tries to be like the better German examples but... Really isn’t.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was malty, woody and nutty with a bit of cocoa and a hint of dark fruit. The flavor was malty and toasty with cocoa, cookie dough, nut and a hint of vanilla. Medium length finish. Medium body and creamy. Ok.
IPA. Upton Park.
Too malty, though not terrible. Stamford Bridge.
