On Tap at the Garden City brewery Slightly hazy medum brown with only a few bubbles. Not head or lacing. NIce dark over ripe pitted fruit. Some molasses, brown sugar and that mellow sweet dark Belgian yeast character. Smooth sweet mellow flavors Not overly boozy, medium whiskey barrel influence. Nicely balanced here. Rich and smooth.

Pallet Racer Fresh Hop from Crooked Fence Brewing Company

On tap pours out hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is leaf notes light grain malts. Taste is more of the leaf hops citrus and a light bread malt.

Bonneville Brown Ale from Crooked Fence Brewing Company

On tap pours out brown topped with a sand head. Nose is big coffee sweet chocolate. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate coffee and some ash on the end.

On tap at the freshtival. Standard hazy dull orange. Thin creamy off white head. Lots of light fresh grassy hops. Light bodied and not very “big” but decent late butters at the end. Not bad

Crowler from brewery. Clear golden pour, small foamy head. Sweet grainy aroma, corn. Taste is also sweet, then bitter. No balance here. Kind of a mess.

Crowler from brewery. Medium amber, clear, small foamy head. Caramel malts, woody notes, some resinous hops in the taste. Astringent finish. Not smooth.

On Tap at the Garden City taproom Slightly hazy deep golden witha small sticky off white head. Swet light malts, easy on the hop bitterness. Plenty of residual sugars. Smooth slick feel. Big, smooth and a litel sweet..

The Emperor's New Haze from Crooked Fence Brewing Company

On Tap at teh Garden City brweery/taproom Slight haze on this deep dull golden pour. Thin white head that clings to the sides of the glass. Papery grassy hop aromas and flavors. Some bitter citrus pith but comes off as a bit stale. Decent bitter at the very end. Lacking some of the good juicy up front classic hazy tropical and citrus flavors.

On Tap at the Garden City taproom. Very light pale straw color witha thin sticky white hed and lacing. Very pale faint light malt aroams and flavors. Strangely, I thought this tasted less like a Pilsner than teh Helles did. This one is milder and softter. A bit better.

On Tap atteh Garden City taproom Cleah light golden, thin soapy white head. Very light pale malt. Pilsnerish noble hop bite. Quite light bodied. Clean finish.
