Bomber from Albertsons… every once in a while I like to see what Crooked Fence is up to, I typically like their hoppy beers. Cool artwork too. Pours a shimmering copper color topped with an inch of thick and creamy beige head. The aroma is on the sweeter side, some citrus and caramel. Flavor is moderately bitter and lightly sweet... more bitter than sweet. Piney and lightly herbal hop bitterness with a little more caramel. Although the bitters linger, overall this is very approachable… somewhat basic IIPA flavor and no surprises (I keep hoping for a homerun with CF… still waiting), but executed well.

Taster at BitterCreek. Medium brown, scant head. Aroma is funny Brett. Taste too is generic sour, nothing pops out, other than to say "Look we've made a sour". Not bad, but pedestrian

22oz bomber. Unfiltered amber-brown body. Thin, oily, off-white head. Amber malts. Spiced moderately. Sweet and malty. Caramel malts. Plain, uninspired. Drinks more along the lines of an Amber or Winter Warmer than a Brown Ale.

12 oz can from a six pack, from Winco. Aroma is dough, chalky candy, grass, lemon, bread crust. Pours slightly hazy golden with a giant off-white head that stays there forever. Maybe it was shaken up. Taste has a nice herbal hop bitterness. Excellent tasting pilsner. I just need to get a good pour on one of these things. Edit: I've come to the conclusion that these beers are faulty. They're overcarbonated gushers. The flavor's really nice if you can ignore all the bubbles and foam.

Bottle from Albertsons. Medium to dark amber, small rocky head. Caramel makes in the aroma, slightly sweet, hints of resinous hops. Taste leads with the malts, then the hops gradually sneak up and take over the palate. Seemingly mild for an IIPA, but it does have long lingering bitterness. Creamy, too.

12 oz can. Aroma is SweeTarts, cucumber, lactic, floral. Pours hazy golden with a giant ice cream float head. Taste is mildly sweet, savory, with a hint of tartness; flavors of cucumber, which comes through pretty strong. Foamy mouthfeel. Really tasty, but I love cucumber.

22oz bomber. Unfiltered brown body. Steady off-white head. Has some faint infection tones going on that sort of kill the aroma, as well as compromise all the adjuncts. Says 7% on the bottle. Rather smooth, but the coffee and vanilla tones are sort of awkward. The infection is mild at this point, but creeping up..another month and the vomit tones will overtake it. At this point still drinkable, but not that good.
