Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 30A/25B-standard). Bottle 33 cl - batch L62B03 (BBF DEZ18). AROMA: medium notes of citrus fruits (orange), slight floral honey and a grainy malt background with a slight sweet profile. APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. large white head with good retention. lace formation. TASTE: similar to the aroma with notes of oranges, slight honey and saison yeast with slight phenolics (pepper-like). medium to medium-high bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-light body with medium-high carbonation. OVERALL: an ok saison with added orange and lemon peel.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting 27 July. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of coffee, with notes of yeast and malt and touches of caramel. Bitter, hoppy and roasty flavour with notes of malt and yeast and touches of caramel. Roasty and estery aftertaste wit malty hints. Okay.

27/7/2018. Bottle at John's. Pours dark brown with minimal head. Aroma of chocolate, dark fruit, roasted malt, berries and toffee. Medium plus sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium to full body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Quite decent.
