Description
Musa is a beer for folks who think “I really feel like having a beer” made by folks who think “I really feel like brewing beer”. We used recipes from the olden days and traditional craftsman methods to create a revolutionary beer. So revolutionary it should wear a beret instead of a cap.

Glass, amber red beer, small head. Aroma is citrus, hops. Taste is the same, bitter with some sweetness, bitter dry aftertaste, nice.

Glass at duque, lisbon. Golden beer, small head. Aroma is wheat, pepper, spice/herbs. Taste is the same, with some sweetness and some bitterness. nice

7 3 7 3 15 Draft at Helst, Amsterdam. Cloudy yellow blond with a white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus and light grassy notes. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

One of my favourites from the Lisbon trip. A very, very enjoyable beer. Tropical fruits, resin, grass, hints of lightly toasted bread…

Not a typical IPA, but maybe not as different from it in enough aspects to stand on its own. More of an Amber. Good tho.

F: huge, beige, very long lasting. C: dark coppery, clear, red hue against the light. A: citrus, tangerine, grapefruits, passion fruits, bit other tropical fruits. T: dry fresh fruity bitterness, tangerine, orange, bit mellow tropical fruits, bit caramel, medium body but over-carbonated as hell yet very good, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Supercor supermarket @ Rua de Aleixo da Mota in Porto.

F: big, tanned, good retention. C: dark, opaque. A: roasted tones, chocolate, mocha, dark caramel. T: roasted malts, chocolate, dry on the palate, nice harmonic bitterness, bit coffee, good balanced with above average carbonation, medium body, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Armazém da Cerveja - Craft Beer Bar/Shop in Porto.

Draft glass @ Lisbeer. Pours totally flat, dark brown. Nose is awful cloying fish guts, pancake syrup in the worst way,… Totally flat heavy cloying hard to drink cough syrup, pancake syrup, fish guts, varnish, soap,… Hard to stomach, flat varnish & plastic cloying BE syrup in the worst way.

100 ml. draft @ Beer Station in Lisbon. Quite hazy sparkling golden, creamy white head. Nose is soapy vegetable, corn, dough,..; Poor vegetable corn, soapy, chalky, quite weak. Funny that they haven’t gotten a cease and desist letter with that name and label.

200 ml. draft @ Beer Station in Lisbon. Quite hazy amber fox, creamy tanned head. Rather malty but in a good way smell-wise, doughy, bready, low bitter,… Tasty malt profile, grain, bread, doughy, very low hoppy, pleasant, drinks well. Quite a lovely Amber Ale.
