Bottle. Pours a jet black hue with a small white head. Almost no head when it sits for awhile. A big nose, cocoa, roast, big whiskey barrels. Rich, sharp whiskey, doesn't really taste like bourbon, more sharp rye, boozy, woody, chocolate. Big vanilla. Very good.

Post workout brew thanks to andrewje41 for this one. Dark pour and fine head that runs away. Nose is sweet vanilla, nutty and chocolate. Tatses of milk chocolate, pecan and macadamia, vanilla, buttery pie crust. Thinner bodied and silky texture. Fairly sweet.

12 oz can poured, picked up at Special Brews. A little surprised to see such mixed reviews on this one. Solid, flavorful porter, that's light in strength, but heavy on taste. Dark brown pour, cream foam head. Nice cocoa flavor with a nutty grain background. Flavor lingers, and finishes on a cool note. Slightly sweet, but less than a typical dessert beer. Fun brew overall.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Hop and Hound. Tasty winter medly here. Dark reddish brown pour, thin fizz head. Vanilla forward aroma with some cinnamon a d winter spices as a secondary thought. Smooth, less than rich flavor with all the same. A nice Christmas cookie brown ale here. Long lasting flavors. Quite nice and unique.

12oz can from Homebrewstuff. Golden pour, mildly cloudy, thin skin of head, rings of lacing. Aroma recalls classic piney hops, gentle. Taste brings a little sweetness before giving way to the simple, but dominant hop profile. Not overly bitter, but it does linger on the palate for some time.

Tastes rather like a Ritter Sport candy bar. Malty aroma, chocolate taste. Nougat and caramel finish. This is what it says it is.

On tap at β€œ40 Taps” Pendleton. Black pour thin fine tan head . Sweet dark roast, plenty of chocolate and vanilla. Very low bitterness and low carbonation. Smooth and sweet. I-84 is closed, stranded in Ptown for the night. Glad this place was open
