Draft at Strangeways Brewing RVA-Scott's Addition. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a small brown hue on the edges when you hold up the glass. Off-white head. Aroma was big roast, bitter dark chocolate. A bit brackish aroma, roast. Flavor had just a bit too much minerals, almost too dry too.

Draft at Strangeways Brewing RVA-Scott's Addition. Poured a slightly dark orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was bit tart pineapple. This was too bitter, odd, earth hop, with a sharp bitterness - not pine resin bitter, just bitter, soapy, base taste.
