Lehe Pruulikoda (Lehe Brewery) is a craft brewery established in 2013 by Gristel and Tarmo to brew refreshing, tasty and original beers. It’s one of Estonia’s first modern craft breweries. Our wide range of beers has found drinkers both in Estonia and abroad. Our story is a story of tens of thousands of craft beer fans, our partners, and our people.

Bottle shared. Pours dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet malt, ripe fruits, caramel, and fruity hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at Drink Baar, Tallinn. Poured a clear dark amber with a thin white head. The aroma is resin hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a woody resin hop, lighty metallic palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - Pruul nr 6 - BB 2014-12-26, at Drink Baar, 20140715) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and pine. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, pine and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. Even though the hops used formed almost the only components I could sense the end result was balanced and enjoyable.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - pruul nr 5 - BB 2014-11-29, at Hopner, 20140714) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, pine and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, pine, caramel, malts, molasses and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. The maltiness hid the hops a bit too much. Yet clean and tasty brew

Bottle from Drink, Tallinn. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is grassy hop, pine. The flavour is medium bitter with a big grass nettle resin hop bitter palate and long medicinal hop bitter finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation. The hop bucket fell into this one, but it works fine considering the ABV.

0,33L bottle, BB 2015-01-03, batch 1. Pours golden with small white head. The head stays. Aroma is grass and some weird maltiness. Flavor is herbal, grass, malt and watery. Finish has some bitterness and some iron. Overall: weird brew, feels lagerish and not in the good way. I don’t enjoy the aroma nor taste. Decent macro lager is cheaper and better than this.

33cl bottle from Drink shop, Tallinn. Pours clear pale golden with a rather small, white head. Moderate hoppy and fruity aroma with hints of herbs some slightly unpleasant notes. Moderate sweet, fairly weak flavours and a moderate bitterness. Watery and a bit boring, but goes down fairly easy.

Bottled@PBF IX. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Particles floating around. Aroma is grains, some floral and yeasty notes and that’s about it. Flavour is fruity, floral and mild wooden and earthy notes. Very watery.

Hazy yellow color, small white head. Light grassy and a bit grainy too, aroma. Ligght-bodied. Nice light hop bite. American hops - citrus and pine. Good and sessionable in its style.
