Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of sweet speculaas herbs, cinnamon, malt, coffee and sweet ginger. Taste has rich cinnamon, sweet ginger, the whole speculaas mix really, with a subtle spicey kick and some malt, coffee and caramel to it. Really nice, love these ginger cinnamon stouts.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before November 2023. Clear, very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of milk chocolate, coffee, hazelnut and a touch of vanilla. Rather sweet, malty, slightly bitter and just a bit roasty taste of milk chocolate, coffee, hazelnut and some vanilla, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter and a little earthy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite sweet for a RIS, would have categorized it as an Imperial Porter (by today's standards).

Tap at Hoptic festival. Very dark brown with beige head. Sweet malts, light smoke, earthy, caramel, toffee. Quite sweet imperial sout notes, light chocolate in there too. Just medium bitter. Full bodied with slick oily feel.
