Sunday Morning Pale Ale from The Civil Life Brewing Company

Pour is a almost red-brownish with a small white head. Aroma is a nice mix of caramel malts and dry cracker breadyness. Flavor is sweet caramel malt to start but then a nice herbal hop comes into play. Finish is a minor sweetness but with a fleeting hop. Hops are not here In a huge way but just enough to accompany the malts used.

Munich Dunkel from The Civil Life Brewing Company

Pour is a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is some grainy malt but also some chocolate if you use your imagination. Flavor is of roasted nuts and dose of chocolate that is much more noticeable than in the aroma. Finish leaves some malt on the tongue. Decent beer.

Pour is a dark amber with a small white head. Aroma is a decent caramel malt with a wee bit of probably a noble hop. Flavor is more of the sweet malty grain. Finish is lager watery but warming and chewy all the same. Bock’s are way low on my want list but this was ok and easy to drink.

Pour is a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is spicy rye with a nice grain. Flavor is all spicy rye with a minimal hoppy backbone. This is all about the rye with the hops thrown in there to spice things up a bit more. A solid tasting low alcohol beer.

Pour is a dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malt with maybe some roast and marzipan. Flavor starts out with some chocolate then comes a roasted nut and finishes with decent dark bread. This was well done and one of Civil Life’s higher alcohol beers.

Pour is a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is a nice sweet bready malt. Flavor is a nice caramel malt with a little dark bread. Finish is clean and refreshing. This has Yuengling clone written all over it but this is a bit better with nice malty backbone.
