32 oz growler shared by JohnF. The pour is a hazed brown black, with a smallish light tan head. The aroma is ashy mineral, along with a lightly charred roasted malt. Perhaps a hint of coffee in the back as it warms as well. The taste is dry flinty mineral, along with the charred roast coffee malt. Nice pine hop finish to the back. The palate is med to light bodied, with the chalky bone dry mineral finish. Nice one, I really like my Porters super dry. Thanks for bringing these growlers back and sharing John.

32 oz growler shared by JohnF. The pour is a hazed golden copper, with more or less no head. The aroma is pretty faint, maybe some muted caramel malt and cereal grains. The taste is cracker malt, the softly sweet caramel, along with a some light apple fruit sweetness, and finishing with some grass and general dirtiness. The palate is medium bodied, very low, close to still carbonation, and the earth and dirt finish. This one may have have suffered some from the growler. As is, just ok, thanks for sharing John.

Pint draft at the Martin City Brewing Company in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a clear golden orange, with a small off white head. The aroma is grainy rough malt, a bit of iced tea character and spicy floral hops fainter in the back. The taste is mostly the malt, lightly sweet, grainy rough, and more of the iced tea type flavor. The hops are present towards the end, giving it some floral and drying out the finish. The palate is medium to light bodied, lower carbonation level and the drier finish. Straight forward, clean, easy drinking beer. Hit the spot.
