Draft at Spacebar. Poured a hazy straw color with a medium-sized white head. Aroma was a little grassy, light corn. Flavor had some light malts, grassy and some light corn. Pretty solid pils.

Draft at Bridge. Clean, metallic lager finish, a little grainy malt, some noble hos with a bit more bitterness than I want but fine. A little sweet biscuit finish. Long bitter finish for style. Fine and doable.

Draft at Lukas Liquors. On the money with earthy, deep malty leaves and light malt soggy sweetness. Low bitterness and low hops. Smooth feel with cheek tickling carbonation. Delightful for the style.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is more of a wet dough bready malt. Flavor is more of a rich malt and little to no bitterness. There has to be some English malt in here somewhere, you get that spice earthy richness from some thing like maris otter. Not one of my go to styles but this was fine for afternoon drinking.

On tap at City Taphouse. Pours a watery brown with a ring of white head. Nose is standard for the style, some wet malts, caramel, toffee, a little detritus. Flavor is just flabby with malt, a little cocoa powder, some caramel, dirt. Watery finish. Uninspired.

Pour is a murky brown with a large tan head. Aroma is some brown ale malt with some sweet molasses. Flavor is a better toffee and caramel with some earthy essence and I get a tobacco after the swallow. Decent English strong without being overly strong. The Civil Life has a way with malts and this beer is no different.

Pour is a bright golden with a large white head. Aroma is a herbal hop with a slight honey malt. Flavor is a herbal almost tea like hop with a lot of lemon notes. Not a lot of the maris otter malt shows up but it only leaves more room for those herbal lemony hops. Probably not exactly spot on for the style but a good showcase of the English hop varieties.

Pour is a clear amber with a large white head. Aroma is a neutral malt grain with not a lot of bitterness. Flavor is a nice earthy malt with some dark fruit like plum. A very sessionable lager with just enough flavor to keep things interesting.
