Small pour at the Donut Bar. Pours dark brown, with a fine, tan, nitro head and good cascading bubbles. The nose is cocoa powder, coffee, and lots of cream. Sweet and malty, with a bit of roasty bitterness. Fluffy and smooth nitro feel. This is a fun and well made stout.

2nd March 2019. Draught US pint in the Aliso Viejo Tony Pepperoni outlet. Untappd has it as brewed by Garage Brewery of Temecula, so I added it here. Anyway it's a clear and clean amber brew with a thin head of tight bubbles. Good piney, earthy, woody hop aroma (once warmed in the glass a little) and taste, good malty base for the semi-bittering hops to work with. Went nicely with my deep fried starter dish and huge Pizza.

Pour is a hazy tan with a large white head. Aroma is nutmeg and cinnamon spice with some white sugar. Flavor is pretty much what was in the aroma. Nutmeg and cinnamon with some tart apple aftertaste. While I do love a good spiced ale but I don't get anything Belgian from this. Decent if you like holiday spiced ales but don't go looking for the next Duvel here.
There's a mission statement on the side about the finest ingredients. What does with "marshmellow flavor" mean? As opposed to "with marshmellow". That aside, there's also an odd metallic flavor. THAT aside it's pretty creamy milky s'mores like. Enigma!

Pour is a almost black with a super large tan head. Aroma is a pretty awesome dry roasted coffee. Flavor is a little thinner that the aroma let on. There is some dry toasted coffee with a bit of roasted peanut. A bit too thin on the mouthfeel with the flavors there but a bit too much ligering in the back round. Decent coffee aroma and well worth a try.

Can from CraftShack. Pours gold with a slightly foamy white head. First aroma is fruity hop, and in mere seconds it turned into chili. Med body or so. Flavor is very Hatch. It doesn't burn much, but it's strong. With imagination I'm finding some fruity hop and a little caramel in support. I think that for some reason the chili is actually helping me find the malt. It's pretty dry stuff, and tho it might be bitter it's hard for me to tell whether it's hop bitter or the chili aspect. Decent drink in either case.
