The appearance is a golden/somewhat amber colored body with a moderate amount of carbonation that is seen rising, one finger white foamy head, light lacing surrounding the glass. The aroma has a strong malty presence up front with some hops trying to make a strong secondary take, but mainly stay subdued. The taste is sweet through the malts, sweet sticky aftertaste and finish. On the palate, its about a light to medium, somewhat sessionable, carbonation seems to be right on for the style and for me. Overall, is this really an EIPA, really? uh... ok, well, I thought it was more of an EPA, not bad, not spectacular, but hey, Iโd probably have again.

Reviewed from notes. Consumed June 9, 2013. The appearance is a light yellow/copper colored body with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dies, moderate amount of carbonation is seen rising. The smell is blueberry, some malts, some wheat. The taste is sweet through the blueberry and malts, strong blueberry aftertaste has a sweet dry finish. On the palate, it has a light to medium sort of body. Its somewhat sessionable, adequate amount of carbonation for the style and for me. Overall, the taste is what got me the most - I know this is a fruit/vegetable beer, but honestly there was just too much blueberry all around mainly in the taste, probably not something Iโd come back to and only decent for the style despite it being a super hard style to review properly.

The appearance is a orange/brown colored body with a one finger white foamy head that dies within thirty seconds, a moderate amount of lacing is left. The aroma - well, its definitely a malt forward DIPA, strong all the way through, hops barely play any sort of balance. The taste is mainly sweet through the malts, sweet aftertaste, dry sticky finish. On the palate, she sits about a medium, maybe sessionable - perhaps, carbonation seems a bit undercarbonated for the style, but pretty good to me as it leads to a very smooth texture, ABV is not felt. Overall, well, the best thing about this beer is the palate as it demonstrates a pretty good smoothness that isnโt usually felt among most DIPAโs, but everything else is mostly just average, unsure if I would have this again.
