Sampled on draft this beer poured a yellow gold color with a large foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was yeasty, phenolic and a bit grainy. The flavor was bitter, yeasty, phenolic and had a bubblegum note. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a vibrant golden color with a large foamy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy with a hint of fruit. The flavor was tangy, sweet, a touch yeasty and was pretty watery. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Draft at the Northville, MI location. Pours a clear golden amber with a finger of foam that lingers. Lots of grapefruit and mikan notes on the nose with some subtle mango and catpiss as it warms. Malty on the palate, with toasted caramel and more grapefruit with some light buttery honey undertones. Lingering bitterness on the finish, light for the ABC. On tap at Granite City. Clear dark amber with small off-white head. Aroma is herbal hops, medium body, lower carbonation, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is evergreen hops and a little citrus hops.

On tap at Granite City in Troy Michigan. Hazy golden with big white head. Aroma is nice clove, medium body, medium carbonation, and pretty good lacing. Taste is clove, some banana, a little bubble gum, and hints of lemon. Lacks richness compared to my favorite of the style.

Taster flight at Granite City, National Harbor. Dark brownish black. Aromas of vanilla, cocoa, caramel. Tastes of vanilla, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel. Medium body with a dry finish. Best of the flight.
