Keg at Whole Foods Wauwatosa. Black, no head. Aroma of huge maple, roast, honey, vanilla, chocolate. Nice. Taste is maple syrup, waffles, roast. Bitter finish. Full bodied, nice.

Pours a copper with a tan head from a can. Aroma is light grass and barnyard, flavor is odd, sort of a cherry cough syrup finish after some sweet roasted malts and Saazy spice. Good beer but a weird beast.

Can from Tavour. 7% ABV Pours copper with a slight beige head. Aroma is malty with a suggestion of strawberry jam. Med body or so. Flavor is sort of a berry/fruit thing with some dark roasty malt that is sort of Belgian. There's some Saaz hop, but somehow this seems a bit of a mess. With imagination I can get leather/tobacco. I'll probably drink it, but ....

Aroma is mostly caramel toffee malt and a little bit of Hop. Appearance is a medium Amber with a thick creamy off white head and a little bit of lace. Flavor is also mostly caramel toffee malt plenty of hot bitter but not much hop flavor there is some sweetness but not much Carbonic tang from soft carbonation. Relatively dense body with a soft mouth feel. Long oily bitter finish.
