Bottle: Poured a black color porter with a nice dark brown foamy head with OK retention. Aroma of sweet chocolate notes with light peanut butter and coffee notes. Taste is also a well balanced mix of peanut butter, floral coffee notes with some chocolate notes with some residual sugar notes also noticeable. Body is light with good carbonation. Not something I would seek on a regular basis but enjoyable nonetheless.

A deep dark brown porter with a very thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with coffee grind, musty character, meaty notes, licorice notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with coffee grind, light lingering Peanut oiliness, powdery character, interesting. Bottle from GRM, via Wisconsin.

Tap at Sidedoor. Ruby caramel brown black. Peanut butter choco coffee porter. For their thin depth and body, this works really well. The toasted peanut flavor is nice, but pretty insipid overall.

Bottle: Hazy gold with a small, off-white head. Aroma is lemon-pineapple, coconut, wheat... Taste is pulpy citrus, malt, ....again, I get a pineapple note....coffee, coconut, wheat malt. Very fruity, good body and carbonation.....would make a nice, refreshing, hangover-helper.....delicious.

16oz can I picked up in Madison pours a watery, dark cola brown with some cloudy, cream colored head. Nose is kind of wild, stale coffee, toasted almonds, cola... that’s pretty much it. Flavor is the same, some soured coffee, cola, less nutty, a prick of black pepper, malt. Watery finish. A let down.

Can. Grapefruit juice, salt, sour wheat malt, and herbal orange peel aroma. Cloudy amber with giant light tan head. Sweet grapefruit juice, salt, wheat malt, and light straw flavor. Light bitter grapefruit peel finish. Excellent - great summer beer.

Bottle. Coconut, lemon, yeast, and wheat malt aroma with lighter notes of coffee and chocolate. Cloudy medium yellow with moderate but short lasting head. Sweet strong coffee, light chocolate/coconut, yeast, and lemon wheat malt flavor. Mildly bitter coriander finish. Very nice.
