Sample at GABF 10/04/2014, thanks to my BIL for assistance with note-taking. Hazy orange color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus and spice. Light-bodied with flavors of zesty grapefruit, herbs and subtle salt. The finish is tart with a citrusy aftertaste. Fairly one-dimensional but decent overall.

Aroma of yeast, raspberry and spice. Light-bodied with flavors of malt, raspberries, ginger and yeast. The finish is tart with a berry aftertaste. Above average overall.

Tap at Old Fashioned. Amateur hour. Burnt roasted pistachio aroma, unique and weird. Unfiltered red copper body. Straight up weird. Oily pistachio hazelnut flavor...pronounced. Seriously disturbing stuff.

Tap at Old Fashioned. Amber-burgundy body. Funky egg lactic sours tones. Flemish sour wannabe. The body is quite weak. Lacto infused amateur hour. Should not be sold to the public. Score seems mighty generous for what it is.

Tap at OF. My first Mobcraft beer. Unfiltered deep brown grey. Steady beige head. Brown coffee notes remind me of Furthermore Oscura, but less depth. Pretty homebrew in terms of body. Decent enough flavor. Syrupy, seriously lacks depth. Has that HOB magic touch.

Sample at Great Taste of the Midwest on 08/09/2014: Clear dark copper-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of tart fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of tart green apples, berries and roast malt. The finish is moderately sour with a tart fruity aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at Great Taste of the Midwest on 08/09/2014: Dark brown color with a medium beige head that recedes quickly to a film. Spotty lacing. Roast malt and coffee in the nose. Light body with flavors of caramel malt, stale coffee and slight hops. The finish is roasty with a short coffee aftertaste. Average overall.

Bomber picked up from Discount Liquor in Milwaukee - turbid orange/gold pour - what in the hell am I drinking? - tastes like lightly salty grapefruit juice, with moderately bitter hopiness, limp, lightly sweet malt - very tangy finish that tastes like spoiled orange juice - ick - and who the hell listed this as a lambic?

Purchased at Discount Liquors in Milwaukee, WI; enjoyed at home looking forward to warmer days in the coming week. I think with this one the cover is better than the book, but that’s not to say it’s bad. Appearance is a creamy, rich black with a moderate off white head. Aroma is definitely a bit \"plasticy\", somewhat like a nitro stout with very light chocolate notes. Taste is decent, mouthfeel is more banana-like than the flavor, with definite sweet and chocolate notes. Overall it’s not bad.
