12 ounce bottle. Dark red, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of earth, toffee, grapefruit. The taste is earth, pine, citrus, caramel. Medium bodied, well balanced, lingering bitterness.

Really good amber. Aroma’s mild. Flavor’s so good, very close to the way I like it- a touch roasty in the finish.

Keg at Co.mpany Brewing. Dark ruby, thin frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of chocolate, leather, roast, Tootsie rolls. Taste is strong roast, herbal hop, resin, spice. Medium-full bodied, chewy. Nice.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep amber with a brown hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dry roasted malts, rye and dark grains with a hint of molasses backing. Flavor has strong roasted malts with bitter dark grains, rye and some molasses sweetness supporting.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a near clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of citrus and earthy flora with slightly sweet wheat underlying. Flavor has earthy citrus and wheat throughout with flora joining in the finish.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear reddish hue and an off white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of earthy, woody grains, ryeand bread with a bit of citrus cutting through. Flavor has woody grains and earthy rye throughout with a hints of onion and earthy citrus underlying.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2016. Pours a clear earthy amber with a near white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of pine, some onion, a bit of grass and sweet grains backing. Flavor has a decent amount of onion with pine, grass and sweet grains supporting.

Tap at Sidedoor. Filtered amber-copper body. Foamy, steady off-white head. Rindy, thick hop tones. Amber malt. Caramel malt. Classic West Coast style beer. Fresh, good.
