Draft @ the brewery. Pours burnt orange color with off white head. Malty aroma with some tropical fruits. Similar flavors. Not really getting much mango, and I’ve been eating a ton of mangoes lately, more of just a tropical fruit blend. Medium body with average carbonation.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours lightly hazy copper color with off white head. Muted aromas of citrus and tropical fruits. Citrus, passion fruit and caramel flavors. Could be much better, but I think the base beer is probably not very good to begin with. Medium body with average carbonation.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours clear golden color with white head. Aromas is mostly coconut with some grain. Coconut flavor, but surprisingly not overly sweet or artificial tasting, with some caramel. Not all that great, but their best beer by far. This is the first of four samples and it goes downhill quickly from here.

A guava brown ale. Murky light brown colour. Froths up way too much. Slightly smoky, toasty nose. Palate is a mess, rustic and incomplete. Overly yeasty, not much guava and the brown ale needs a lot of work.

hazy amber with thin, weak head. Earthy hop aroma with passion fruit accents. Light earthy, toasty hop and strong passion fruit including the tartness. Incongruous - this would be better with a fruitier, more floral hop that complements the fruit. The hops they use now complement the malt, but don’t mess with the fruit much, and the fruity is by far the more dominant character.

Slightly hazy light amber and a thin head. Not that much aroma but has a creamy coconut note. Clean, balanced malt. Fairly natural, not too sweet flavour though not really my thing. Might be a bit ambitious for a rookie brewery but if they pull this one together there is potential in the concept.

Clean, malt-accented aroma. Taste is malty with very few off-notes. Not sure the colour - this one was dyed green for St. Paddy’s Day. But this is a clean and perfectly functional intro beer.
