Description
Freedom’s Edge Brewing Company has been brewing up tasty craft beer in the heart of downtown Cheyenne since 2012 making us the oldest operating brewery in the Capital City. As of February 2020 we are proud to say we are under NEW OWNERSHIP, officially making FEBC a locally owned and operated brewery. Joel Emerick & Eric Kilmer are grateful for our business past and now they’re ready to make history taking FE to the next level where their passion for building within the community will truly shine; building new recipes, new relationships and new memories.

Draft at the source. Hazy deep golden amber, thick tan head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of brown bread dipped in coffee. Taste is a decent brown ale with a coffee edge. It works.

On draft at the brewpub in Cheyenne Wyoming it is a dark brown without a head. The aroma is similar to a chocolate egg cream soda. The taste reminds me of flat coke that then evolves into a vanilla puffing taste

On tap at the brewpub in Cheyenne Wyoming, it is a dark brown color with no head. The aroma is coffee and the taste is bolder and has a stronger coffee taste

Hazy dark brown with a small beige head, some lacing. Aroma of dark malts, oats and chocolate. Taste of dark malts, chocolate, mild coffee with some mild bitterness

Clear dark brown (almost black) with a medium sized beige head, good lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, oily and floral. Taste is fruity, dank, floral and bitter citrus
A good Black IPA, the way it is suppose to be. Black in color but an IPA. Nice.
