0,33l bottle at home bought at Beer Store Vienna. BB 04/2017. light yellow quite hazy color, small white head. smells quite musty, moldy, citric, herbal, thyme. smell is kinda weird moldy for me, not such a fan. light body, medium carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes again a bit moldy, some blue cheese, citric, lightly salty, lightly sour, acidic, some herbs, thyme, lemon grass. finishes lightly sour and acidic with notes of mold, citric notes and some thymes. hmm, not a fan of this one, for me both aroma and smell have a quite strong moldy note which is rather unpleasant. usually I like gose, but this one didnt work for me, maybe a problem with my bottle.

330 ml bottle from Beer Store Vienna, bb 13.04.2017.
Pale straw, hazy body, with a medium, fluffy, off-white head.
Aroma with a lot of spices, especially thyme, lemon juice, wheat, bread, salt, candy.
Taste follows this, a bit lighter, dry, salty and medium sour.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes dry, spicy, a bit sour, salty, wheaty, hoppy, a bit fruity.
Very nice. Quite dominant spices, with the thyme sticking out, greatly combined with the lemon juice and with a pleasant dryness. Drinks very easy and fresh. Characterful, quite unique style example, one of the very best from Austria so far in my opinion.

At a tasting, thanks, medium stable bubbly fluffty head, deep brown color with some light redish taints, yeasty, nutty, spicy aroma with some rubber and cooked vegetables, flavor of yeast, green vegetabls and hay with some bread and a roasty hint in the back, much too sour. Strange and almost undrinkable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of caramel, malt, toast, fruity esters. Sourish-sweetish flavor with fruity esters, yeast, malt, caramel, phenolic spicy note, and some roast. Medium-bodied. A bit overly sourish, but still OK.

0,1l from bottle at Craft Bier Fest Wien. BB 06/2016. black color, small tan head. smells of licorice, spices, some fruit notes, light roast, yeast, cloves. nice smell. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes spices, licorice, cloves, very light roast notes, light chocolate notes. finishes with spices, cloves and chocolate. unfortunatly beer was rather warm. overall decent stuff, not as good as the other next level beers, for me this one lacks some roast notes. overall still good and quite drinkable though.

Nice one. Interesting combination of the typical Porter notes and banana notes, works very well. Drinks smooth. Enjoyable, unique Porter.
