Der verrückte Sultan mag es offenbar alkoholisch schwer und fruchtig-bitter, wobei der verwendete Sultana-, Citra- und Mosaic-Hopfen seinen Senf dazugibt. Ein wirklich toll kreirtes Bier mit faszinierenden Aromen: Grasig-bitterer Hopfen trifft auf südfruchtige Noten nach Zitrone, Maracuja, Kiwi und Litschi, dazu ein Schuss Mandarine und Marille. Und all das äußerst bekömmlich zusammengemixt und im harmonischen Miteinander. Hat mir wirklich gut gefallen.

330 ml bottle, bb 09 Nov 21. Dark golden, clear body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, white head. Aroma of mango, passion fruit, peach, resin, moderate pine, vanilla, some biscuit. Tastes pretty similar. Medium, quit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes smooth, medium bitter, medium sweet, fruity, resinous, with some pine, some tropical fruits, some biscuit. Tasty. Old-school, crisp DIPA, with a great balance between fruity hops, a resinous bitterness and a smooth, sweet malt body. Full bodied, while really quaffable, with the alcohol completely hidden. Among my favorite ones from Next Level! Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2020) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized, white and it lasted long. Aroma had grass, grain, herbalness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, herbalness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was grassy, herbal and bitter. A pleasant brew with strong notes of grassy and herbal hops.

0,33l bottle at home bought at Beer Store Vienna. BB 16.12.2020. yellow murky color, small white head. smells citric, dank, bit leathery, tangerines, lychee. nice rather subtle smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes citric, grassy, earthy, bit peppery, hints of candy, some tangerines, bit leathery, lightly herbal, some grapefruit. finishes dry and light to medium bitter with notes of tangerines, peppery and herbal notes. nice stuff, quite dry but still good to drink, quite on the citric / grapefruity side. very nice one overall.
