Clear golden coloured body with a frothy perfect white head that tops the beer and lasts, while the bubbles still keep flowing - this is exactly what you’d want a lager from Germany to look like! Mild bready aroma with yeast, lemons, coriander seed and even a bit of a ’wet paint’ scent. Light-bodied; Super mild taste of malt, light hops and a very mellow sugar. Aftertaste is completely non-existant; watery, dry, hoppy and somewhat grassy, but really just mild. Overall, a good looking beer, and it would probably drink well in the summer after it’s warmed up, but this beer just is a bit too mild. I sampled this 500 mL swing-top bottle purchased from Karsdadt in Frankfurt, Germany, sampled on the other side of the Atlantic at home in Washington on 29-April-2009.

Aroma is moderate malty, cabage water, cooked corn, cardboard. Flavor is light to moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090221]

50 cl bottle at Bredaryds Wärdshus on April 25, 2009BB 30.07.09Hazy copper color, off-white head. Smoke, wood, dry malty scent. Sweet malty taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Really wouldn’t have picked it as a smoked?

Pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of DMS, grainy malt and unfermented wort. Rather dry, grainy malt flavour. A bit thin, but decent for what it is.

Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, malt sugar sweet, bread notes, light yeasty, as sour topple yeast, sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration.
