Description

(Bottle 50 cl) In my version it’s called "Leikeim Landbier Hell" at 4,7% ABV. Looks like a pilsener, but very, very soft and malty without much bitterness. This ain’t cloudy. 071000

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful yellow beer with a characteristic, tall head. Fresh and "spritzig" - lots of carbonation. Quite dry with some citrusy notes and a short, limited bitterness. Not a bad Hefe. 230900

(Bottle 50 cl) Golden beer with a fine, creamy, white head. Sweetish, malty nose. Very, very soft mouthfeel, main flavour is sweet malt - almost no bitterness. Very pleasant. 280705

Swing-top bottle: Golden colour, medium-sized firm white head; floral hoppiness in the nose, some traces of resin; light bitter-sweet taste, creamy texture, soft; ends slightly bitter-aromatic; has some typical franconian qualities, but all in all a bit thin. There are better examples in rural Franconia !

(swing top bottle) Pale yellow colour with a small foamy white head. Citric hoppy aroma with a tinge of malts. Clean and crispy taste of malts with a soft bitter short hoppy finish, but unfortunately way too thin. Not really bad at all but rather a brew you might enjoy during a stop over at the airport or a train station (when there´s no other stuff to get [& on a sunny day {& in a good mood}]).

Bottle. Lightly sweet malt and light hops aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Mildly sweet but strong barley malt flavor with mild grass/hay hops finish. Nice body. The best German lager I have ever tasted - one of the few I would drink again.

(swing top bottle) Yellow colour with small head. Slight malty aroma with a little bit of grassy hops. The taste is lightly hoppy and very profane, like a slim decent Pilsener.

Wunderbar hopfig herber Antrunk, der aber Zeit zu heftig wird. Ansonsten kann ich mich nur der Kommentare der anderen anschließen. Test vom 25.2.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,7,6,5,7,7 - 6,65

An orange beer with a small disappearing white head - why is it not hazy? The aroma is slightly sour and hoppy. The flavor is grassy and hoppy and slightly sour, with a very dry end.

Bottle. Lemon-lime soda aroma - hint of malt. Light yellow color - next to no head. Sweet lemon-lime flavor - I think I detect a bit of hops there somewhere. I need to just copy my Radler reviews - they’re all the same. Only drink Radlers when you’re thirsty and in the mood for a Sprite/7-Up(tm). There’s never much of a beer taste to them
