Bottled, bought at the brewery. Clear golden blond color. Snow white, rocky head with good retention. Aroma’s: Fruit, some grain/malt, hints of sweetness & grass. Flavor is lightly malty sweet with a hint of fruity acidity. Rather much carbonation. Light bitterness in the finish. Very clean tasting.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, chestnut-brown colour with a medium-sized, slightly beige foamy head. Slightly sweet and toasty malty aroma with notes of barnyard/sweat and herbal, also metallic hops. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Slightly toasty malty taste and traces of caramel, mixed up with a herbal Pilsener-character; dry, slightly toasty and quite hop bitter finish. Interesting Dunkel-Pils hybrid. 09.V.10

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized and slowly lacing foamy head. Moderately sweet pale malty nose with notes of barnyard/draff, which seems to be part of the house character, accompanied by herbal and slightly grassy, metallic hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a pleasant carbonation. Initially mildly malty with herbal hops getting stronger towards the dry and hop bitter, slightly grassy finish with a mildly sweet malty blend. A Pilsener with character. 09.V.10

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, yellow colour with a rocky foamy white head. Yeasty, sour doughy pale malty aroma with a touch of sweat/horse blanket and grassy hops. Light-bitter flavour with a touch of acidity (not due to infection), light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Yeasty doughy malty taste with traces of barnyard, accompanied by a delicate touch of grassy and herbal hops. Dry, moderately hop- and yeasty bitter finish. Still a likeable rural brew. 07.V.10
