Draft - Dark chocolate roast. Jet brown with a small beige head. Dark roasty notes with some cocoa. No hops here.

Draft - Tropical fruit and some grapefruit. Clear gold with a nice white head. Sweet and bitter with some tropical notes.

Draft. Biscuit malt and straw aroma. Pale yellow with small head. Sweet biscuit malt and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Okay body.

Draft: (Tap at Joe Willy’s....a local restaurant) I’m a little concerned about the previous reviews and my own take on this....I may need to call and ask if they added anything to this one at the pour....at any RATE, (pun intended)....on to my opinion: Clear, light gold with a small white head. Grain malt, lime , chile aroma. Taste is jalapeno juice, (watery) .....lime, barley malt. My dilemma is that my reactions are not even addressed by anyone else, however, that being said, this is what I felt, tasted, and smelled...not one chile reference by anyone else yet......so, I’ll let it stand until I investigate further.....odd....In addition to this annoying anomaly causing self-doubt, I feel compelled to also state that I didn’t care for this much.....at all....in fact, I didn’t even finish it (at 5$ for the pint)....and no one else at the table felt obliged to finish it off either.....not good.

Draft: Clear, "berry"-brown with a small off-white head. Dull berry and caramel malt aroma. Peppery, leafy caramel malt, melon-rind flavour. Starts off a bit weak, but gets better as it goes.. Light-feeling, a nice taste, overall.

tap - Pours orange with a lingering head that laces nicely. It has an aroma of citrus hops and malt. It’s bitter up front, of course, and also had kind of an odd flavor that made me think of oatmeal. It’s an okay beer but a bit off.

Draft: Black, with a whipped, nitro head. Old, stale coffee aroma. Thin, overcooked coffee taste. Watery and mediocre.

Draft. Wood ash, chocolate, coffee, and malt aroma. Black with nice tan head. Sweet light chocolate malt and wood ash flavor. Very light body. A Guinness clone.

Draft at Twenty Tap. Opaque maroon color, thick tan head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma of cocoa powder. Taste has cocoa and coffee grounds, light body.

Draft. Black! Big beige head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of roasty chocolate and pine. Taste is bitter cocoa, burnt espresso, more pine. This is my kind of black IPA, thank you for brewing it.
