tap at Trubble brewpub - Hazy yellow-orange pour with some lacing. Aroma is mostly citrus hops. The flavor has crisp bitterness, citrus, and some sweet malt that balances it well. Good IPA.

tap at Hoppy Gnome - Hazy yellow pour with an off-white head. It has a citrus and hop aroma. The flavor is bitter with a little citrus. Malt presence is light. It smells good but otherwise I found it just okay and a little underwhelming.

tap at Summit City - This beer has a nice resiny aroma. The flavor is of assertive pine accented hops with underlying caramel malt. IBUs are lower than I thought as to me it was on the more bitter end for the style. Medium bodied. Really good. Burn ’Em continues to make high quality brews.

16oz can, courtesy of shrubber85, thanks, pours with a nice dark brown body that supports a brief tan head. The aroma offers up nuttiness, roasted malts, spiced molasses and dark German bread. The taste is pretty rich and rewarding with a pleasing nuttiness blended into sweet malts and roasted malts. To midway a tasty level of various spicy notes come forward to join the nutty and maltiness. This is solid with terrific balance.
