Draft at Brewery. Big black and brown head beer. It's all nice coffee aroma, strong and enticing. No flaws on coffee use on nose. Flavor has some bitterness that's chocolate and lightly tartening acidity. Much less big and strong that expected for 13%. Fortunately booze is kept at bay despite being big and no tooth ache sweetness. No big beer yeast flaws. Could use a bit less bitterness and acidity. But avoids major flaws well. Lighter body that expected.

Draft at Brewery. Hazy NE IPA look. Smells like green dry hop resin (not pine), like evergreen forest with tropical fruit undertones. Not for me and also a waste. Flavor is similar with strong raw bitterness aftertaste. This is not how you make this style. Uber-Fail.

Bottle at the JimGreen tasting, Den Haag, December 2017. Thanks Kermis. Poured a clear dark brown with a short-lived dark tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, smoky, big coffee. The flavour is moderate sweet liquorice bitter with a silky smooth rich roasty, coffee, charcoal, chocolate, dry liqourice hop bitter palate and an oily mouthfeel. Full bodied with flat carbonation.
