Draft at the brewpub, July 2006. An unclear light yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is a weird mixture of plastic, banana, wheat, and diacethyl. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of diacethyl and banana, but also light wheaty notes, and the body is thin. My first guess is that there is a brewing flaw behind this, but reading aracauna’s review from a week prior to my visit, it might also be due to poor cleaning.

Draft at the brewpub, July 2006. According to the beer list, this is an Australian style lager - I had no idea that there existed a style called Australian Lager - so this is a first for me...

A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with slight notes of spices and fruit. The flavor is sweet malty, but also with a spicy note from the hops - a bit like the lite beers a la BMC - which I don’t like. And no wonder the body is thin.

Draft at the brewpub, July 2006. A hazy light yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet citrusy, while the flavor is sweet with a fresh citrusy note and a slightly bitter and dry end. But the body is thin. Very refrehing.

Deep brown in color with a creamy off white head. Aroma is malty, with caramel, vanilla, yeast, raisins and some other sweet fruits. Flavor is much of the same. Caramel, and malts are at the forefront. The raisn notes showed up in the flavor as well. Finishes with a little bit alcohol. A very respectable dopplebock.

A hazy orange-brown beer with a thin lazing orange head. The aroma is buttery combined with notes of diacethyl, while the flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, but after a short while the butter and diacethyl hits You. Brewin flaw or poorly cleaned lines.
