Aromas are mainly black patent malt which I'm not a fan of, roast, dark malt. Flavors are one the sweet side, a little cocoa, raisins and a hint of coffee. Texture is smooth, a bit chalky. Nice beer overall.

Cask at Platform 8 in Inverness. Local brew at pub. Dark amber, slightly hazy, low head. Malty aroma with hints of pear. Also father fruity taste, mainly pear.

Aroma: Sweet fruits and sweet malt with notes of brown sugar. Flavour: Sweet roasted malt with sweet fruits and slight bitter notes. Aftertaste is sweet. Colour: Very dark brown with a light brown head. From: Bottle.
