A beutiful golden beer with a good head. It has a fresh slightly fruity aroma. And a nice malt flavor at first, but it is very light and almost watery but ends on a nice dry bitterness. An OK beer but not extraordinary.

A dark red beer with a good head. The aroma is fruity and a bit sour. It is very sweet for a Brittish ale. The flavor is typically ale fruity with some unrecognizable spices and hints of the alcohol content and in ends in a slight bitterness. A very nice ale.

Enjoyable, deep malty beer. Full caramel/toffee presence in the aroma and flavor, with a hint at peat and earthy bitterness in the finish. Not very heavy, which makes this a great combination of full malt flavor and drinkability. Nice dark orange-amber color and large thick head and lace.

This beer was like eating almond chicken. I think it was awesome. Smooth and even are the definite words here, had it from the nitro keg so it was perfect. Rich taste and a yellow-white creamy head of about an inch that remained. Rerate. Bottle 2003. Still on par with what I remember, smooth, creamy, nutty and medium bodied, perhaps less so than on keg. The flavor screams nougat, and there is a hops presence, possibly saaz.

Beautiful brown beer similar to the strong bitters in appearance. The flavour is largely caramel mixed with coffee, which takes a while to get use to. Drinkable and fairly pleasuarable.

Dark black beer with little head. It had a sour fruit aroma like some Belgium beers. Awful was the word that sprung to mind at the time of drinking.
