This beer pours a slightly murky copper-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Fruity aroma with notes of yeast and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal yeast, fruit and bready malt. The finish is fruity up front with a floral yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.

On draught at the taproom. The beer pours a dark brown color with a medium thick and foamy light beige head that diminishes gradually. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of roast malt, sweet chocolate and citrusy hops. The finish is sweet malt up front with a fruity hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Sample at Daily Growler UA during the "2 year Anniversary Celebration/Christmas Beer Party" on 12/17/2014. Pours black with a medium tan head that diminishes quickly to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of ginger and roasted malt. Full-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, sweet ginger and chocolate. The finish is dominated by the ginger aftertaste. Interesting idea but the flavors don’t add up for me. Decent overall.

On tap at 1890. Deep amber with some beige head. Aroma is fruity, medium body, medium carbonation, and some lacing. Taste is fruity with slightly dry finish. Pretty good beer.

Sample at Land Grant. The beer pours a clear dark amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of grainy malt, fruity hops and oak. The finish is hoppy up front with a lingering sweet malt aftertaste. Seems a little off balance on the whole, but a decent beer.

Medium-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Medium-bodied with flavors of yeast, red fruit and sweet honey in the background. The finish is floral and herbal with a fruity aftertaste. Decent overall.

Full-bodied with flavors of rye malt, dark chocolate and black coffee. The finish is mildly spicy rye and burnt malt. Pretty good all around.

Sample at the GCBA Summer Session on 08/23/2014: Clear dark orange color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a wispy film and large bubbles. Aroma of berries, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of tart blueberries, wheat and mild spice. The finish is fruity with a semi-sweet blueberry aftertaste. Decent overall.
