Half pint on draft at the brewpub. Pours reddish dark amber with medium beige head. Nice caramel/toffee aroma, medium body, low carbonation, and medium big bubble lacing. Taste is caramel, some toffee, and light herbal hops. Like this better than most of theirs.

Half pint at the brewpub. Pours translucent reddish brown with small beige head. Aroma is light nut, medium body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is hazelnut, toast, caramel, and hints of milk chocolate. Typical English brown which has a descent hazelnut flavor, but needs a little more richness.

Half pint at CBC. Pours cloudy light orange with medium bright head. Nice apricot aroma, thin small bubble lacing, medium body, and medium carbonation. Taste is apricot, caramel malt, and some off flavors. Nice use of apricot, pretty good beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours deep golden with medium white head which dissapates quickly. Aroma is light tart apple, medium body, low carbonation, and light lacing. Taste is apple and alcohol. The alcohol should be better covered.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear brown with crimson hues and medium beige head. Aroma is hoppy/hint of nuts, medium carbonation, and thin small bubble herbal hops. Taste is herbal hops and some nuts. Not an English variety of brown ale, very hop forward. Hop heads might like this, but needs more balance in the taste for me.
