Bottle shared by Travlr at the DC Pre-Thanksgiving tasting. Thanks! Poured a hazy yellow color with a small off-white head. Aroma was some notes of wheat, citrus notes. Light wheat notes with some earthy notes.

Not really a rye beer and definitely not a hefeweizen. Someone might be confused here on style. Sour, light bretta aroma. Pours hazy gold with OK head and lacing. Tart finish. Bottle thanks to Travlr.

Pours a hazy golden color, topped with more than decent white frothy head. Malty aroma, slightly fruity. The taste starts sweet, nice bitterness follows it, slightly soury - probably gone a bit bad. Wouldn’t be bad at all.

Gusher that wouldn’t stop. Pours clear brown with a big beige head, good lacing. Aroma is smoky, chocolate and dark malts. Taste is smoky, grainy and ash
A nice Brown ale.

Grapefruit and funk, mild overall. Gusher, cloudy golden, thick head. Funky grapefruit, rice and malt finish. Fizzy. American influence, hardly old world.

Jun ’14. Marko’s 0.33 l bottle, great thanks for sharing! I can’t describe my thrill with an imperial stout made in Bosnia, really glad the brewmasters from Oldbridz put it out! Anyway, it poured pitch black body with medium sized brown head. Fine aroma of coffee, dark fruits, raw cocoa, touched with an earthy note. Flavor was lightly bitter, with roasted malt dominating, especially the coffee and dark chocolate, which was especially pronounced later. Dark cooked fruit flavors were also making up the big part of it touch with wood and some other spices; no hops. Medium to full bodied brew with moderately long finish, which gave away a bit watery feeling somehow especially since it’s supposed to be 10%. Pleasant anyway here towards the aftertaste with dark chocolate, as said, taking over the dominance. A fine IS, currently the best Bosnian beer for sure! Hoping to see more of these around, including Croatia which has yet to make one.

Thanks to Travlr. This bottle is a little infected but Gene said he had another one, so I’ll give it another go if I have a taste at that. Coppery aroma common in style was still detectable. Pours amber with ok head and lacing. Sour finish from infection. Bottle.
