On tap at Stones Throw - MacPark, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out caramel, some roast, and earthy hops. Flavour is harsh and jagged, with harshly bitter earthy hops, roasted malt, and a sort of varnish-like fruitiness. Jagged, harsh, lacking balance and just no idea what it's doing.

On tap at Stones Throw - MacPark, pours a clear dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of sweet syrupy caramel and bready malt — doesn't smell promising. Flavour is quite sweet and malty, with syrupy caramel and bready malt. Sweet and lacking complexity or depth. No good.

On tap at Stones Throw - MacPark, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dry oats and a touch of dry cocoa. Flavour is dry and hearty, with oats and bone dry cocoa. Finishes bitter and dry. Decent enough but could use more heartiness and less bitterness.

On tap at Stones Throw - MacPark, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt, a hint of herbal notes, and light caramel. Flavour is fairly malty and dry, with bready malt and light herbal notes. Bland but clean and drinkable. Pleasant.
