Courtesy of tpd975. Pours straw filled orange juice with thin white head. The aroma is fresh bold wheat along with lesser notes of honey, lemon, apple and honeydew melon. The taste isn’t as bold but good with wheat, honey like sweetness, a hint of bubble gum and some acidity tartness. The later half of the taste has notes of lemon, some spices of some sort and more sweetness.

bottle from keg @Joe’s NYC Gathering shared by rciesla/Ryan–pours a big foamy white head with cloudy straw color. Aroma is clove/pepper, banana, wheat. Taste is clove/pepper, banana, wheat, some tart fruit. Much milder/thinner than the aroma although no detractors.

On tap at Flying Saucer. Has a cloudy golden color with a large white head. The aroma is banana dough and wheat. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is like the aroma with lemon zest. Crushable, my go to hefeweizen.

On tap at Flying Saucer. Has a cloudy amber color with a thick off white head. The aroma is very hoppy with light citrus. The taste is a sweet hops and very easy to drink. I enjoyed this IPA from Live Oak.

On tap at Flying Saucer. Has an amber/orange color with a medium white head. Has a good balance of hop and malt on the nose. Good lacing on the glass. The taste is a very smooth tangerine and a bitter finish. Enjoyed this one.

On draught at Flying Saucer in Houston. The beer is a clear bright gold color with a medium and frothy white head that lasts awhile. Sticky patches of lacing. Hoppy, citrusy aroma. Medium body with a bitter hoppy character. Notes of sweetness become increasingly prevalent though. Touches of malt and citrus show up too. This finish is dry and bitter hops with a touch of sweet malt aftertaste. Although the beer does not stand out in a sea of decent IPAs, it is solidly above average all around.

Hazy dark brown color with red hue, poor head. Aroma of caramel. Thick mouthfeel, oily, with malt, a lot of caramel, a lot of sugars, enough bitterness, sweet nuts, and a prickling alcohol warmth on the tongue. The final, with a lot of caramel, warming, is long. It’s not special, but I like powerful beers.
