Deep golden color, small white head. Buttery, woody hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Harsh malty, woody hoppyness, some unclean buttery notes. Lingering harsh bitterness in the aftertaste. Certainly a Czech pils, but not very balanced one.

50 cl bottle. Rated on 10.9.2008
Aroma has syrup-like sweet malt and caramel. Flavour is sweet too, with hints of roastiness. Unfortunately some metal does also appear. Drinkable.

Bottled@Hostina, Helsinki. Deep coppery brown colour, big foamy off-white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is smoked malts, mild caramel, some ashes as well as quite peated notes as well. Flavour is very similar along with some mild diacetyl and mild smoked cheesy and wooden notes.

Draught @ Kaisla, Helsinki

Pours black with a beige head. Nice aroma of smoked bacon. Taste is a bit disappointing, reminds me of a dark lager with some smokiness. Nice smoked finish, though.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear nutty brown with a beige head. Heavy butter aroma, caramel too. Medium body, sweet caramel and a little roast, the smokiness comes out now. Dry and hoppy finish. Shame about the buttery aroma. 030511

Lahev (Diky, Quack-Ducku!): Clear, golden, big beaten-egg-white-like white head; a touch of toasted malt in the buttery-bisquity nose, porridge in the background; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, soft, almost medium-bodied, malty base detectable; woody hops in the lingering buttery-malty finish. Dobra těkutina.........
