On tap at Eni-bru. A limited spring 2014 beer that is possibly specially made for Eni-bru. A cloudy pinkish orange pour that looks like a fuzzy navel. A yeasty spicy clove with light sour plum aroma. The body is thin & light bordering on watery. The taste is good, like a weizen with a twist of sour plum. Tasty Stuff.

On tap at Ant n Bee, August 2013. Clear golden with a small white head. This was drinkable but a bit strange. Notes of medicine and citrus, also some light malt.

Tap at Molto. Bright yellow, decent head. Nose of citrus hops, wheat, cream. Hoppy, grainy flavor, lots of bread or biscuit--uses a lot of wheat I suppose. Light yeasty funk. Decent.

Draft at Devil Craft during RBJG2. Hazy golden yellow color, medium white head. Smells and tastes exactly as you might expect.

Tap at Devil Craft, Tokyo. Clear golden colour with a white head. Sweet malt hops aroma. Sweet slightly bitter flavour.

On tap at Lezzet and part of my 1000 yen tasting set. It said it was a honey ale but I didn’t pick up on honey at all. It had a malty bitter taste with very little carbonation and a thin mouthfeel. Disappointing. I guess this beer has changed since KyotoLefty reviewed it.

Draught at the Ji-Beer Festa in Hiroshima, 2012. Cloudy yellow-orange. Aroma of honey, English hops, malty a little funky. Pretty nice hops—fuggles? A little honey, decent malty, toasty grainy.

Draught at 2012 GJBF Osaka. Golden color. Nice citrus hop aroma, light malt, a bit herbal. Interesting flavor mixing biwa leaves and hops, works well. Clean, herbal. Decent.

Draught at Eni-bru. 3 months aged after a brett-only fermentation, I gathered. Nose of citrus, light funk, earl grey in the end. Pale gold color, clear, no head. Interesting. Light body, clean, citrus flavor with light funk and Alka Seltzer. Nice enough dryness, though a bit too metallic and medicinal. Decent, though it could be more sour and dry. Could use more aging, I think. Not a bad beer, though, considering the strange concept.

Draught at the Great Japan Beer Festival, Osaka, 2011. Kind of interesting pinkish-white color. Aroma of lychee. Tastes mainly like lychee fruits but still manages to taste like beer. Tangy, fruity, clean. It works.
