very cloudy, lots of cloves. Very estery, a touch of rye. Full bodied, a touch of variety of grains in the mouth. Almost cloying, but keeps balance. Full bodies. Very enjoyable, slight twist on a weizen.

Draught at Craft Beer Festival in Ichinoseki, 2011. Copper-amber with a high, fine head. Aroma of metals, light malt, bread, grassy hop. A bit faint and dull in the nose. Nice flavor, though: fruity, with light amber malts, yeast, grains. Nice balance. Smooth, silky body. Metallic. Nice but not outstanding.

Draught at the brewpub. Big pumpkin aroma with wonderful spicing (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove). Sweet, meaty flavor with big pumpkin, clove and cinnamon. Fruitiness balances the pumpkin very nicely. There is a slight strangeness at the finish, but overall a wonderful dessert beer, especially with the brown sugar and spice around the rim of the glass in the “Pumpkin Pie Ale” version.

Draught at the brewpub. Dark chocolate brown color. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, some sansho, a touch of citrus. Tasty chocolate, caramel, and sansho blnd in the mouth. The sansho, used fresh, blends in very well and adds a nice citrus touch as well as a peppery spiciness. Works a bit like American hops! Light carbonation for a smooth palate. Very tasty. First beer with prominent sansho that I have liked!

Draught at the brewpub. Pretty orange color, quite dark, with a fine, lacy head. Rich wheat aroma with some citrus and grains. Rich, thick wheat flavor balances by grains and a tart edge. Banana, clove, lemon. Lovely—really rich and tasty, but different, grainy cereals add a nice touch. Wonderful.

Draught at Eni-Bru. Roasty aroma with coffee. Quite strongly roasted flavor, slightly creamy, with coffee and a touch of dark chocolate, plus a bit of fruit, berry-like. Soft, smooth body. A nice porter, very drinkable.

Draught at Eni-Bru. Pale amber color with a nice lacy head, tons of bubbles stuck to the inside of the glass. Earthy, light malty aroma with some caramel. Fruity-grainy flavor, with caramel and earthy hops. Rather sweet but not cloying. Nice, strong bitterness, coming on big at the end. A bit strange, but interesting and unique.
