Tap at Kyoto Beer Fest 2014. Brilliantly balanced, with juicy creckery malts and also great hop bittterness and flavor. The bes I have had of this beer, save for straight from the tank. It is getting better. Draught at the Brewpub. Sweet and fruity malt, some grassy hop, rather low attenuation, but ok bitterness. Good, could be drier. Straight from the tank was really amazing. 6/3/7/3/14 On tap at the Microbrewers’ Festa in Hiroshima, 2008: 5/3/6/3/10. A light golden color. Faint aroma, middling malts. Rather buttery, but not much to recommend it either in terms of malt or hops. Clean and light, but not so interesting.
