Draft at brewery. The description should be something I hate. But it's well done. A) not sugary, B) not alcoholic, and C) balanced. Maybe also super important is the lack of acidity. Looks a little brown but the adjuncts mingle well with a coffee dessert beer with out the nasty stuff.

12iz pour at brewery. Dirty nasty looking beer. Another NE IPA trying to be done outside NE. Similar as most, at first it's seems authentic. But as it warms that light sandpaper bitterness comes out anyway. But the hops are nice. This looks particular like the stuff I dump when I brew.

Draft at brewery. Pink hued brown color. It's like a frutti totti juice it's got so many berries. The kettle sour is slightly hidden under the berries. Porter? What Porter? Wine cooler without sweetness. Fun enough.

Draft at brewery. Lightly slick gold appearance, no head or lacing sitting around. It appears kettle soured. But still fine for me. That light artificial plastic is there. Dry and cheek drying st the end. If I had to kettle sour this is the better way.

Draft at brewery. Dark clear copper color. Smells a bit astringent (cherry), toasted malt, and dusty malt. Flavor finishes with a strong spirit flavor, some fruit through out and a thick malt biscuit abound with alcohol. Tastes like they dumped some bourbon into a slightly astringent barleywine with enough malts flavor to cover some of it up. At a time when barleywine has fallen out of vogue a bit, it's a decent one but I liked the unbarrelef version more. Also, somehow this is 2% stronger than regular version.

Cloudy gold with a bubbly white head, hoppy and juicy and very alright.
Candy sweetness and zesty all at once, lemon meringue pie in a glass? enjoyed with a fabulous pizza.
Amber gold with a frothy white head, bloody lovely, proper pale ale.

Sampler at brewery. This was pretty bad, strong phenolilcs and lots of nasty herbal character. Just completely undrinkable and wrong. But it was a pretty color and one does not often walk into this type of brewery and see them trying to make a BdG.

I just had a very poorly made barletwine last night, so I may be biased. Deep, dark ruby color, clear. Avoids may pitfalls, not sweet or astringent A lighter beer for style. A little cherry fruit on nose, some herbal liquor character. Flavor is fie slightly fruit malt. A bit of alcohol heaviness at end of flavor. Could do this again. Ver pretty hue to the beer.
