Welcome to our brewery located in Louisville, Kentucky. Our brewery and Taproom, “the Fallout Shelter” opened in May of 2012, producing beer for the masses and your survival.
Our passion is in creating small-batch, fresh craft beer. We support sustainability with our solar-heated water, grain reuse, material recycling and the re-use of found objects and equipment used to build our brewery.
With a combined total of over 40 years of homebrewing experience, our local, regional and nationally winning brewers are excited to be a part of Louisville’s great craft beer scene and brewing tradition.

Taster at brewery. Dark brown pour, filmy beige head. Sweet aroma, fingernail polish, hazelnut. Taste is also sweet, chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla. Harsh at firs. Creamy, silky. Something good in there, just can't get past the chemical, medicinal notes.

Taster at brewery. Dark amber pour, film of head. Aroma is boozy, malty. Big boozy notes the Taste, rum, sweet, boozy. Rounds out nicely.

Taster at brewery. Medium golden, clear, filmy head. Aroma is mildly sweet and spicy. Taste brings the peppers forward, mild, but enough of a spicy bite. Peppery bite lingers throughout.

Taster at brewery. Amber colored pour, fine head. Aroma and taste are a blend of malt and hops. Light caramel, pine.

Taster at brewery. Medium golden clear, fine head. Malty aroma with a resiny edge. Taste starts with a hoppy tang, light citrus peel, then piney. Sticky, mouth coating.

Taster at brewery. Clear golden, filmy head. Crisp, malty aroma, grainy, bready, crackers. Taste is more malt centric, crisp, dry. Not as sweet as some pils, but great just the same.

Green chile, orange, milk, wheat malt and straw aroma. Sweet green chile, orange, creamy wheat malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Mild heat in finish. Nice.

Bottle at Shelton After Party. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is licorice, cocoa, roast, wood. Medium body, wood, cocoa, roast, dark fruit, dry finish, good.
