Description
Holy Mountain is a brewery and taproom located in the Interbay neighborhood of Seattle, founded by co-owners Colin Lenfesty and Mike Murphy in 2014. The influence of oak has always been the focus of the majority of beers brewed at Holy Mountain. A sizable building near the Seattle waterfront has allowed the team to build a vast stock of oak barrels, puncheons, and foudres used for both primary fermentation as well as long-term aging.
The proximity of the brewery to the Yakima Valley also allows the team of brewers to utilize hops from the best producers in the world, constantly exploring the relationship between hops, oak, and mixed fermentation. Holy Mountain doesn't offer any year-round beers, which creates an ever-changing lineup in the brewery taproom. In addition to oak-influenced beers, Holy Mountain also offers a wide range of rotating, hop-forward ales and lagers.

7.8/10
Nice spicy hop forward mess, crisp, dry finish, but definitely lots of dank floral grassiness on the front

Can from Tavour. Pours clear gold with a large foamy white head that laced down. Grapefruit aroma. Med body. Juicy but not sugary. Decently bitter. Flavor is grapefruit, guava and melon. Seems to have a light spice note. Flavor is very delicious.

Tavour can: pours mahogany with beige head. Aroma is toasted malt, hints of dark chocolate, some caramel. Taste is dry, robust, some bitterness. Not too sweet. Solidly done. Not sure if this is a polotmavy or a tmavy.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear light bright gold with a decent white head. Aroma has a light onion note. Arguably med body. Dry and bitter. Flavor is pale malt supporting fairly strong onion or similar with some citrus and a resin note. Quite different flavor, but quite tasty.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear, light bright gold with a smallish white head. Aroma is malty bready with a note suggesting honey. Hop? Med body or nearly. It's clean and crisp cracker with a light bitterness that somehow makes the whole thing quite pleasing. Really refreshing.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright gold with a moderate white head. Aroma has an aroma exhibiting both malt and corn. Not getting hop. Mildly sweet. Mildly bitter. Hop is an earth/stone fruit mix I think.
