Bottled. Black, beige head. Vague licorice aroma. Sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel. Notes of honey before a resiny licorice finish. With low hop rate and dysmal malt character this is your dream beer if you like fizzy appley pale industrial lagers, but would like to pose with a dark beer.

Bottled. Cloudy pale orange, creamy head. Aroma of estery banana and paper. Sweet and light-medium bodied. Very fruity with some buttery cookies and mashed sweetened bananas. Stays away from being cloying. The malt character is simple, but holds up, and makes this a drinkable, even enjoyable beer - possible the best to come out of Falkenberg since 1996.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pitch black with a sticky - but not very stable - brownish head. Nice, full body but not very bitter. Roasted notes of coffee and dark, bitter chocolate. A very filling and wholesome brew. During the Swedish prohibition you could get this by the doctor’s prescription only! 140101

(Bottle 33 cl) It looks like beer, colour is decently golden and the head is tall and handsome. But the flavour.... Most delicious note is one of cardboard. But otherwise this is full of weird off-flavours that have one thing in common: they don’t resemble beer - not at all. Points for looks only. This truly is awful. 071200

(Bottle 33 cl) Just like Falcon Pripps also has a range of beers with Bavarian inspiration. Beautiful reddish golden colour with a small off-white colour. Slightly roasted/smoked aroma. Flavour is malty again with some smoked notes. Slightly bitter finish. Not bad at all for a low alcohol - they really managed to make this resemble a real beer. 181000

Canned. Cloudy pale orange, brief creamy head. Aroma of estery mashed banana mixed with metal. Light bodied, lightly fruity. A short blast of weisebier flavour with a metallic edge followed by emptiness. In desperate need of more malt.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautifully golden with a rather small head. Distinct, malty body with a weak sweetness nicely balanced by the hops. Very harmonious and decent pilsener - and much better than it’s reputation. Danes usually joke about this as the quintessence of a bland Swedish beer. But it’s really better than a lot of the comparable Danish brews. 161000

(Bottle 33 cl) Very pretty dark golden - almost amber - with a nice, frothy head. Fresh, hoppy nose. Rather light-bodied and highly drinkable. Some weak notes of smoke and a distinct - if not exactly overpowering - bitter finish. Very well made. Vienna rather than Dunkel. 151000
