11/12/2023. Can shared by Gus, cheers. Pours slightly hazy dark golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is stewed, wet cardboard, damp grain, brown sugar. Quite sweet sugary caramel taste. Light body, quite fizzy. Not good.

Country scope panda, thanks to SHIG, 04/07/21. Clear golden with a thin white cap. Nose is dusty fruit esters, corn husk, vegetal notes, cereals. Taste comprises pale malts, grains, cereals, paper, dusty fruit notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable country tick kind of affair.

Sample @ Rare Country Tick Extravaganza, Part 1. Many thanks to Grumbo for this. Shared with BlackHaddock. Pours a generally clear gold, white foam atop. Corny introduction on the nose, rice perhaps, fine carbonation, a touch metallic, thin low-bodied sweetness. Passable.

9th May 2021. The Great World Awakening tasting with Minutmat, assisted by Grumbo (who supplied 8 of the beers). We had 14 beers from 13 different countries as we tried to add some new countries to improve our stats. 11cl sample bottle between us, golden body, mini-head. Corn/rice Lager, not a lot going on, but not unpleasant, on the semi-sweet side flavour wise.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Amber gold colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of sweet malt, corn grain, some caramel. Taste is sweet, malt & grain, toffee hint, with slight bitterness. Watery, light bodied, light carbonation, dry cardboardy finish. Quite bland, standard pale lager.
